​About LICYSL
The Long Island City Youth Sports League is a non-profit organization set up to utilize the public school gyms and NY Parks Department playing fields in Long Island City.

WINTER 2024 Kids Basketball at PS78Q Gymnasium starts Sunday, January 7 and runs thru April 14. Cost $225 per child. For more info and sign-up please email licyouthsports@gmail.com:

Below are the very approximate times and age groups, they most likely will be rejiggered as kids are signed up.

Boys Grade 1, Girls Grades 1&2/Boys Grade 3 12:30pm - 1:25pm
Boys Grade 2/Boys Grade 4/Girls Grade 3-5 1:30pm - 2:25pm
Co-ed Grades 5-8 2:30pm - 3:45pm

We currently organize youth basketball programs on Sundays from January through early April. Run by LIC local Coach Dan Freeman and assisted by local parents.
